Hi,


In process of rebuilding top of engine ( yr2000 4.0 petrol Thor engine) and came to replacing inlet manifold - it has 12 bolts - RAVE (section 30 page 501) does not indicate that 2 are longer and i did not note the position of them when i removed them (effing plonker!) - does anyone know where the 2 longer bolts go ? - i am thinking 1,2,3,or 4

you cant get it wrong ,short bolts will be too short for thicker part of manifold

just done mine, the longer bolts are where the manifold is thickest. Look at the two bolt holes nearest to the radiator end

Hint, the short bolts don't go where they won't reach.
