Hi
I have been cleaning the oil from the connector on the engine ecu for about 8 months while tying to decide where the oil can come from. I have just found the following text in old Threads. Can any one help in identifying what is the problem(or does anyone have an old loom) that I can disect to find out what is the problem is which hopefully will allow me to find a repair for them.
"oil leaking down injector loom contaminating the red connector at engine ecm"

Just change the injector loom.

change the loom in the cam, it leaks from 2 blue o rings, goes down the loom to the ecu and shorts it, i had this problem, changed the loom and the gasket, reset everything and it's been fine since.
£45 for the loom and gasket and £30 for a guy to reset everything.

Does any one Know what has been changed on new loom to stop it happening again?
