So, apart from being a bit fed up at the moment the number one injector copper seal has gone🤯
I had a split return pipe that exopsed air passing beside the injector... Can I hell find any over here🤬
Anyone have a good supplier to suggest please before she gets contaminated with the black death sludge 😊

didn't Flossie source some. I know he was after them a while back

I've managed to find some on Amazon fr, 21mm od x 17mm id x 1mm..
12€ with delivery... I guess I'll find out one way or another.. I just hope the seal seat isn't scored or damaged.
I'm seeing more and more car parts for various older vehicles not available anymore... Are we being pushed off the road🤔 thank you rubbers👍

Of course the politico's want us all off the road, sat at home tied to a bloody smart phone. BEV's are deemed OK as they can be disabled remotely at any time. Control and compliance.

There is an ebay seller who does a set of six but they are rubbish as I found out, changed number 1 injector seal twice with them with no luck. I got 5 injectors off ebay and chucked them in a sonic cleaner and fitted one of those in place of the leaky number 1 and that's sort of cured it, still looks a bit damp down there but it's better than it flooding out like before. Head seat was perfect. You can get the old washers off if you are careful but they don't come off completely undamaged, I didn't keep it unfortunately so it might have been reusable with a bit of annealing.

17x19.5x1 they are much smaller OD than the originals, I put a pic up on here somewhere, ID is larger than originals, difficult to get them on the injector if they were the same as original I suppose. I don't know if the od or the id was the reason for their utter crapiness or both.

Land Rover told me they weren't replacable. Best clean up the seat and washer and hope it works.

If you can get it off (I couldn't as it was smaller than the shaft) then heat to cherry red and then put it back on the injector and put back when cool.

Sorry dude, not as of yet. I can say they are a little smaller than the injector nose as pointed out so I'm going to try and heat one and test fit over an old pilot injector. If it works I'll dig out number one injector and give it real test... As of yet I've other stuff in the que and as she still does her job like a good'n it may wait. Sorry guys😳

Does the injector just sit on a copper washer? I've got an injector seat cutting tool you can just feed it down and polish up the bottom... I bought it for my Volvo Penta but might it work here?

As you know, I'm a V8 man, and don't really know much about the doozle....

Yes, copper washer. I've got a seat refinishing kit but the biggest cutter was too small for a 38 diesel.

Unfortunately the copper washer goes over the nose of the injector, then it's screwed into the head matey 👍

Hmmm, after looking into the head on my old omega, there's no Seco dwasher down there as it sprays directly onto the glow plug into a pré chamber🤔

My old Volvo Penta has the injectors clamped in a thick copper sleeve. I had blow by on that and was able to clean the seat with my cutting tool.

My endpoint is that I’m happy to lend it if you think it might help…. But I don’t really know what you’re dealing with! Anyway the offer is there if you want it. It came with a few cutting sizes but I’d have to check what they are.

Your a good man and thank you. If I remember I'll get a picture of the injector and washer placement on the old m51 engine I've got in a vauxhall for an image reference for you guys👍

This is what I have if it’s any help…
