Hi i need a set of injector o rings for my 97 gems engine,sites are just listing year up to 2000,does anyone know if the gems black and the bosch green injectors use the same o ring ,before i order a set thanks.ps best online company to buy these from.thanks

If they are listing 'up to 2000' then that would include your '97 surely.

dont know,because as i say there are two types of injector,one for the gems and one for the bosch,just wondered if they are the same dimensions.

Well from what i,ve found with a bit of digging the Lucas gems and the Bosch injectors are the same dimensions whats more you can fit a Bosch green injector in a gems set up.The Lucas give a single spray jet where as the Bosch gives a 4 jet spray jet paterrn

I assume the shape of the head would then matter as the hot points would occur in a different pattern?

If yours is a 97 then it will be the Lucas GEMS engine......
