How do you know it's 'packed up' what are the symptoms.

Well land rover specialist says it is crud in the tank bloking fuel line or the injector pump, it fires up then struggles to keep going finally cutting out.
The tank is being taken off and cleaned out tommorrow to see it that is it but at worse its the pump

Injector pump these seem to be a major problem i had my old one reconditioned about £250, but found out a soaking in Fuel injection additive helps, i take it that you have tried a new Fuel filter , lift pump, checked the lines etc first.
