ie..in what form does the autobox ask engine ecu for torque reduction request..ie data? or gnd/live signal?(uses own wire, NOT CANBUS)

in what form is engine speed given to autobox ecu...ie from trigger wheel or tacho or spark..

in what form is engine torque given to autobox ecu..ie tps or prehaps injection pulse or even data??

RAVE says that the ignition retard request is in 12V pulse width modulated format. Torque is 0-12V PWM.

Engine speed is a square wave with 4 pulses per revolution.
 
mine dont mention that..hmm...so need to make device that decodes data, or even just detects data and switches to gnd...that woukd be easier,

now how am i going to scope the relevent line from gearbox considering car not legal to drive and need to drive to get gearbox ecu to ask for gearchange..no rolling road..

who is gonna know more on this?is it worth speaking to lr tech i wonder?
