got a rr p38 all done today was wire in towing socket now for some reason drivers side indicator stays on solid indicator wont flash when hazords on wont go out disconected towing socket still same anybody any idea please

do you have separate flasher unit, if so you might of cooked it due to too much load . they don't give much le-way on some.

Fanatic has it - Suspect the BeCM....check your drivers footwell for damp carpets...may pay to check all the connectiosn to the BeCM for moisture!

The indicators are powered directly from the BECM so you need to check that for damp and corrosion.
However you might be lucky and it might just be confused. You could try locking / unlocking with the fob or, if that doesn't work, and you've got all your codes you could try disconnecting the battery for a while and see if it re-sets.
I'd strongly suggest a bit of reading before you disconnect the battery, especially as you are starting with an electrical fault that could be linked to the locking / alarm system.

Did you connect the caravan electrics to the connectors provided or splice in to the light clusters? If the latter the BECM may not like it, you must use the correct connection points.
