does anyone out there know where the "spider" is on a 97 300tdi. apparently mine is broke and she wont go...(according to the AA man who couldnt fix it.

If you have one (not all 97's do) it'll be in the centre console under the heater controls. Do a search as there is a thread on here showing where it is and a link to a step by step DIY repair on another website.

He should of been able to get you going even if it was only temporary.

yep i agree it aint rocket science to bypass, disco or fender, fender in with battery under passenger seat
