i have a defender 3.5 v8 (my first defender) ...however after spending and spending (and not driving) its now looking great but im not using it...so where is the best place to sell it so firstly someone gets it that will appreciate the beast and secondly to try and gain back the money ive spent??

in the "forsale section on this forum. Or to me directly if ya want? I'll give ya a bag of pork scratchings, for it??? :D
 
i figured here would be a start.... but i wasnt sure wether there was some specialist section or if there were magazines everyone into this stuff would read?

oh and i think pork scratchings are great (i'm a northerner down south!!!) but maybe a few quid more will be more seriously considered!!!:):)
 
i think ...(he says with doubt i bought it cheap from a guy that had done alot of work on it and got very bored and skint) since then ive kept spending ...today its back with a new ashcroft transmissions autobox cos the old one fell out!!!

All told in 2 years me and the last guy have spent around £6000 on parts alone!!! whats its worth ??? any clues??

How longs a piece of string..?? best bet is put it on ebay and see what it fetches. but anything from £1500 to £5k depending on how mint it is and how well you word the advert.
 
cheers for help.. i was kinda guessing ebay might be the place! if i got upwards of £4500 i'd be happy moneywise but then i still think due to its nick i might regret selling!! but ive only got room for 2 landrovers ...!
 
is it worth taking it to the landrover show at peterborough with a for sale sign?? or not a suitable selling place?? (im going anyway) but was planning on taking one of the other toys!!

oh a curly wurly!!! now we are getting there..next offer!!!

here goes got no pics and its dark already!!

new gearbox, viscous fan, indicators, leather bucket seats, wings, doors, bonnet, roof, tyres ...front bulkhead rear crossmember... you want me to continue!!! disca all round ..brakes all round... door cards, locks, petrol cap.... harnessess fire extinguisher!!! high lift jack...battery mounted under spare seat ...oh repainted red...new dissy and leads...shocks i think...diff guard steering guard... all this new in 2 years and its done 100 miles if that!!!

im guessing a twix will be next offer with a ginsters pasty chaser??
 
ah that would explain 5k in fuel!!

oh forgot to those who are actually reading its an e reg!! kinda guessing that is important!!
