I am a recent and very proud owner of an '07 Disco 3 TDSE.
I had a Disco in AUS for 6 years and it broke my heart to sell it. What helped make that car so special to me was that I found a mechanic from a main dealer who was happy to look at my Disco out of hours. I paid him well and always knew i could trust him and my Disco.
Anyone on here know of a decent mechanic who is happy to look take a look at concerns I have for cash.
OR
Know a decent independent where i am not going to feel like i am getting robbed the minute i walk through the door.

PS: While i am on here, two quick questions....
a) My low coolant indicator just came on, so being a predictable chap i looked at the coolant reservoir and it appears to be empty, HOWEVER coolant (pinky stains) seems to have been sprayed all around the mount, like the coolant reservoir burst or the last person to put some in had a very shaky hand. Anyone seen this before?
b) My alarm keeps going off every 8/9 hours for no reason, then when i reset it, the lights blink 4 or 5 times. Do you think this is a low battery? I'll check the manual, but it literally just happened again. First time it happened i ran down 3 flights of stairs with a baseball bat ready to take on a rioter.... bit of an anticlimax when it was just me and the Disco.
