I very nearly drove out of it actually, but the front wheels couldn't get traction. Didn't fancy pushing my luck and driving through, not in a TD5 (my ECU already gets regular baths)
Need to find the leak on the snorkle though - the water in the air filter box wasn't a good sign! I think it's where the UJs on the steering were rubbing on it.

Nah. They's there to give you a step up when the water gets too deep and you gotta get onto the roof.
