I do appreciate that they have done us no favours with the weird beard ramblers and made themselves look like right charlies.
I doubt that they'll forget it in a very long and i hope they have had thier section 59 warning.

The article isn't all that bad. The pennine land rover club did a good job preventing us all from getting a bad reputation.
At least the emergency services got some experience doing something they probably don't get to do very often. It clearly wasn't plain sailing for them and I'm sure they will reflect on how they handled the situation, and how they could better handle a similar (or more serious) situation next time.

Yes the LR club did have a responce, it dont matter how good, that will more then likely make no differance to the anti's, the picturs speak more to them and the fact that so much time and money was wasted.
Did you bother to read the comments along with the story.... they still seemd to give a bad responce to the story, yes a couple of people to defend legal offroading/greenlaning, not in the whole, the antis cant give a dam about what was said by the LR Club, get real.
I am afraid that dont matter how well we behave while carrying out our past time there are always a set of gunghoe wasters that will always think "have 4x4........go any where" and will not think of the outcome of what they are doing.
We see it on here even with some peoples attitude and that will not change,
