hi ive a B reg Defender 90 with a 200tdi defender unit and its got disc brakes on the rear axle so i guess a swap there , Firstly how do i find out what diff i have and also what rear prop do i need , are they the same regardless of which diff or does that depend on which diff/axle combo thanks gb

hi same axles on 200 300 and td5 will all fit same diff will or should be 24 spline and you can use your original prop on diffenace in size of diff all same size etc if you need more info check my rebuild thread as i used a td5 rear axle

pull a half shaft out early disco are 10 spline

Am I right in thinking all td5 defenders are 24 spline? My friend has done a diff (we think) and just wondering if we have one or need to get one. I have spare 10 spline ones that's all.

yes all 24 spline
