Just thought I would share with those that are interested, my plan for a dual charge system for overlanding in my D1. The setup is more about auxiliary items such as a fridge and camping lights as oppose to a winch set up.
I do have a winch hooked up to the starter battery, but this is only really for emergency use.
I have gone with the Swiss made IBS system that has a 200a relay and an intelligent management system. They also come badged as Britpart DA1174-BP but are made IBS.
I have attached a wiring diagram mainly to show the cable sizes used and a shopping list.
The Dual Charge system was bought from D4x4 and the wiring bits are coming from 12voltplanet.
