That's what I have been saying for 35 years. But, it is going to go at some point and it is hellishly expensive to run and <78% efficient. If its not broken don't fix it ??
I suspect that all the talk about banning carbon fuelled items will fizzle out to not happening. At least for a very long time. The proof will be visible when it comes to the crunch and the oil and gas producing nations tell the west they are turning the taps off for six months, and show us how much we are reliant on carbon.I have signed my life away on a new gas boiler (before they ban them)
Sad new tratterers. Claires Accessories is closing. A well know seller of tratter parts to bling up yer heaps.
Can always do that when it eventually breaks down and no parts availableIt's a good idea to get a new one while we're still allowed to have them.

Can't you drill your own well, or is it not-allowed/not a suitable site for one?Afternoon folks.
Well the painting came to a bit of an abrupt halt. Water went off Tuesday evening. Its been back on for a few hours but very sparodic, supposed to be 1 on 1 off. We thought we were doing so well this year, oh well. Too many Wells in that line sort of rubs it in
.
Anyway, We make the most of it and we are off up to the village spring tomorrow for awash and clean in the troffbirthday BBQ, starts at 11am

We haven't run out of water this year yet and i have used about 15,000 lt on the veg plot so far, thunder storm's predictions for next week end with about 50mm fingers crossed if not delivery from the fire bregad, and I don't smell yetAfternoon folks.

I would build a 20 cubic tank underground and fill it from the mains in the wintertime problem solvedYes no problem with doing it, except the last drilled wells near us have dried up (not deep enough).
When the garage pit was dug we got water in the hole at 2m, when we dug the pool we got water at 2m (different areas of our property).
We used to have water come in the basement bit of the house (not happened for a few years).
It is still on the "it may happen list".
But we have a pool to get the worst stink offor fill a bucket for a flush if needed
. But with 6 toliets (lets not turn this in "how many ovens please") we get 3days of flush requirement for 2 peeps

We ran out 2 times last year if you remember I found a leak in the tank so applied a new water prophing coat internally two days work been great so far now down to a 1/4 tank qOh we dont smell, well we both may but we dont notice.
You still buy your water in if you run out though? We have a pool which I could easliy turn off and pump back to the house if I wanted.
Cant remember last time it rained.
