V hot today, 35 c.
W getting on me nerves, as usual, gave a her a little sewing task to do, she has been quiet since instead of talking about "things" that need "doing".
The mad thing wants to go doing all sorts of physical stuff she shouldn't be doing, like picking apples for juice etc.
I almost have to tie her to a chair.
(Don't get any purvy ideas!!)

We have somehow "lost" the nearside rear reflector off the Citroen Pluriel.
This is a right pain as getting a replacement is proving extremely difficult.

I now strongly suspect it was kniicked. Typically I didn't notice it but W did as soon as we got to the car at the airport.
Secondhand is rocking horse poop.
New is stupidly extortionate.
I could prolly buy one similar and stick in in the hole but of course that would look awful.
If she'd chosen a rare and quirky Brit car, no one over here would want to nick bits off it.
And ordering car parts from abroad is actually illegal over here! Although I have done it as have loads of others.

All holes drilled for new and extra trailer lights, still using a bit from my £2.60 drill bit set from Temu 😀

Today I fitted the new MED sub-stack and air-filter to the Mini (£130).
It is an improvement over the cheap generic £29 K&N knock off cone filter.
There is less induction noise, the thing feels like it may be breathing more easily, this may alter the AFR a bit.
I will run it for a few days and then pull the plugs for a "look-see" :)
Next upgrade might be a real AFR gauge.

Just got an email from my bruv.
His cancer is back, in liver and lungs.
He has just moved into a bungalow and wasn't really expecting this.
He already has no colon or bladder, and is in a wheel chair.
As they monitor him every 3 months they will have caught this relatively early but they have told him his intravenous chemo will be ongoing, with basically no end in sight.
When I think that his wife died of C just after retiring at 60, the following year he was diagnosed with it, their only son has gone through all of this with them both. Poor lad.

He just doesn't seem to be able to catch a break. Yet he stays upbeat. I havd totally no idea how.

Soz for depressing you all.
Sleep tight.
;)

O'dear thats terrible, poor fella so sorry thats sad reading. :(:(

Was doing this tonight, took the d1 for a hurl & the gears were like stirring soup so fitted the common return to centre
plate n springs, done the lower stick bush as well. The upright on the plate between the springs was snapped off so finding
3rd gear was interesting to say the least..... The top was all oily n greasy no point cleaning it tbh.

The easy start was on the shelf hiding the thread lock hence its in the pic....

I use tiger balm for aches n pains, it wont help yer cough prob make yer eyes water & dont go for a pee after you've used
it without washing yer hands !! It will take yer mind off yer shoulder pain tho 🤣 🤣
Wear plastic gloves when using tiger balm or heat. Saves hours wondering if the smell gone. I have ankle pain on the front of the foot that occurs at on moments. So I try to use freeze ibrufon gel because I tried the balms and got a heat blister after stupidity of covering over for work.

Yer it can burn just like the hand warmers, I use them sometimes.. I had them in my sock as I busted my ankle I had to chuck em
as they were burning me.

Morning All. :D
Herself has gone for the paper. :)
She's very depressed ATM because the other 2 executors are doing nothing to progress the probate and are just tossing hand grenades in at every opportunity. She wants to ditch being an executor. I told her to tell them to shape up or ship out. Remind them that a professional probate chaser charges 5-10% of the estates value and that's what will happen if they don't pull their collective fingers out.
On another note, the nasty BIL is in a mess, is suffering from depression on the loss of his Mummy and can't cope with life (he says). I have found a way to get the money he took from the estate back and equally shared I think.
Anyway, all is good with me, usual aches & pains are in evidence but I ignore them. :)
Have a great day! :D
