Storage is an issue, especially if you hardly ever use it.
Mate of mine paid to store his and it got nicked from there, so that would be a worry too, quite apart from the expense.
So yep, awning it is!!:):)
I've finished looking into Landy-attached awnings and decided not to follow it up. Now looking for a suitable frame tent, 4-man type. I have my eye on a certain type made by Cabanon. Had one in the 90's when we took the sprogs camping and know the superior quality of this type. Had a look on the Bay, and most surprised to see some from as far back as the 1970's and still in useable nick. (Although I will want new or nearly new).

Ive had almost every set up, roof tents awnings every extra I could find, expedition trailers all sold but I will set up another rig
at some point. Tent wise id probably go for a canvas bell tent. One centre pole & the a frame poles some come with a stove
hole. :)

The one we had as kids (so 50s 60s) I used to take my ex around Scotland when we first met. It stayed in my dad's garage until he died ('98) when we gave it to the local scout group who were amazingly grateful.
Bukta.
Brilliant!

Best of luck in your search!!

Our neighbours in Hull used one, no pole other than the centre one, but loads of pegs attaached to guy ropes. 🤣

... lawn has been mown. A sack of pallet-wood has been chopped up into easy to use kindling sized pieces for the wood-burner.
The Rib-eye steak has been salted for later cooking on the barbecue.
Herself wants me to make a decking addition alongside the existing patio c. 12' deep and 15' wide. :(
That's gonna cost, and it doesn't match with hre desire for us to buy her mum's old place and move there.
I am confoozled by these requests.
