Afternoon folks :).

Been a while for comment, but bin watching you all;).

Been putting up coving in the "east wing" We had a bit of a melt down that we dont have enough coving to do the 2 areas left:eek:, Of course we cant get it anymore which was why we got it all when we started using it. So had a quick rough measure +20% and I should still have about 8-10m left so panic over.

So thats the last coving in the inserts up, the 1 the builders put in. its not square not the size we agreed:rolleyes: but close enough for me to make it look right to "most peoples eye" I just wont look at it when I lay in bed and say that line is 1cm out and doesnt line up with that 1 over there.

Yep want it right do it yourself;). Anyway now on to the rest of the room. It may not feel hot in there but thats 1 shirt wringed out.

So in the shower, M comes in and says "theres water pouring in the basment" I say "Well I am not going down covererd in my Wash n Go suds" It can wait till tomorrow:).

But other than that suns out, pools warm, we have cold roast chicken and salad, Oh and the beer is cold👍.

Enjoy the summer:).

Sympathise re the coving.
I once bought the plaster stuff as I wanted to paint over it in gloss paint.
The room had a bay window with 3 panes so lots of awkward angles to cut.
By the end I had inches to spare and had to make the last piece up out of three short lengths.
But by then I had developed a technique of smoothing the joining stuff with abrasive paper wrapped around a tin of the right diameter. ;)
So it looked fine.
Unlike the join in the longest length that I did first!!

Wifey currently listening to a recipe on YouTube in eSpanish, which is a bit annoying, especially as she speaks less eSpanish than I do!!!
Mexican Chicken tonight, so yep, more cold beers to come!
Enjoy, and best of luck with the shower that serves two rooms at once!:):):)

Shirely it would have been easier to book 2 return flights🤔.

So is this all supposed to happen while you are in France? cos that dont make it easy.

Hope it goes well and its sorted this time.

J
That's exactly what we did, but it is still 4 flights, if I was a pedant!!!
So yes, like last year where she had to fly back for just a 20 minute chat, it is happening while we are here.
You don't mess with the NHS!
Thanks for the good wishes, we too, in Spades, if not in No Trumps!!!;):)

What a faff!
It has taken us until now to book 4 flights with Ryan flipping air.
Still tis done now.
(Flights back from Bornemuff are at insane o'clock in the a.m. )
She has to go in once for preop assessment, then again about 2 weeks later for the op.
Hope all go's well , Ryan air are a right pain these days and bump the cost up at peak times

True although the seats on the journey Bournemuff - Carcassonne are very cheap!
We cannot knock the convenience though. Carcassonne is only 45 mins from here and Hurn Airport only about 10 minutes from our home address.
Failing that it is Toulouse Gatwick which is a major PITA.

have a look at the flights from Stansted to Pula , when I was working in the UK i could get a flight for £5-00 but that was 8yrs ago

After I had rinsed my wash n go covering and turned off the shower, dressed and got downstairs to look it had stopped, so I deduce a drain pipe problem. As there was no toilet flushed water on the floor :vb-weyes:. I deduce a shower or sink drain problem.
Will report findings.

Same as all airlines. I wanted to book a week's holiday in Tenerife in October to meet up with the dottir, hubby and grand kids. As it is skool half term the flights are eye watering high. So booked outgoing flights a week earlier with returns a day earlier than planned. The saving on flights paid for an extra week's accommodation.

Dynamic pricing

"A kidney stone usually doesn't cause symptoms until it moves around within the kidney or passes into one of the ureters. "

Only lickle ones pass easily, I fink.
Its a 3.5mm stone so the scanner says, must be moving, pain is constant and I'm only getting part relief for about 2 hours from painkillers, taking codein and paracetomal together. Hopefully it'll ease soon, not getting anything done 😕

Mate of mine had kidney stones in his 20s. He said it was the most excruciating pain. He has not drunk anything but water since, that was 25 years ago.

High prices can sometimes be a bit "interesting". We try to avoid holiday times on our ferry bookings but cannot avoid September which is often higher than you'd think due to so many crumblies going abroad after the school hols.
When we came over this time I had to keep putting off our sailing. Due to W's issues with the orspicle and getting the noo gearbox fitted. Bizarrely, although we were well into the Easter period, the price kept dropping!
Mind if you will go overnight....
We didn't, I drove through the night instead. ;);)

Soz about that. It sounds tiny but the inside of your urethra isn't wide!
I totally understand why you ain't getting anything done.
A friend of mine had to have part of his urethra replaced with summat, I don't know what. And when all that hoo-haa was over he got a hernia. Men's watta works can be a right pain.
Wishing you all the very best with getting over it. ;):)
