So, I had asked W to ring her credit card peeps about this money paid in error to Axa-Schengen. It took her two gos as the first eejit just went through a mountain of security poop and then cut her off.
But the 2nd guy was decent, saw the problem straight away and credited her immediately with the amount the buncht took from her wrongly.

So all credit to John Lewis and very rude words to Axa-schengen!!!

She/ John Lewis solved in 5 minutes what I had taken hours to try and do to advance the cause. so we had a little celebratory bevy.

Not been so hot today as has been a bit cloudier. Still 27 degs in the house mind!

Sleep well all!

I got a "free" brand new delongi (spelling) dehumidifier, I left it under my boat as the lad was shampooing the carpets & interior
of my boat, he was cursing me as it weighs 35kg & had to get it up a ladder & into the boat. Apparently its an air con unit aswell
dont think I'll have a use for it once the boat is cleaned, unless I run it in the winter to keep the boat dry but I may have sold it by
then. (boat that is lol)

err @Hippo whats your angry face for ???

You dont need to understand this as you only weld rusty old donkeys 🤣🤣
Technically not true as when building a kit car I make up lots of stuff out of new steel. Also true if I do anything for the house. But yep, avoid welding cars as much as possible and if forced then anything that will make a decent patch gets used, altho I do treat it for rust before and afta as I hate doing it twice.

Even to hot for the cat

Here's the only picture I bothered to take on my trip to the fens.
We rode in to Cambridge for lunch. This was taken from the towpath on the CAM.
I have never seen so many Swans in such a short stretch of river. We hit the towpath here and crossed over s nearby bridge onto the other side and went to where all the college boathouses are. We sat in the Fort St. George pub for lunch.
