The MIL will probably be coming back home very soon. W saw the hospital people today and they have declared that at 95 the MIL is not a viable candidate for grafting.
So we think they will ship the old gal back home end of this week or beginning of next week. W wonders what happens when she takes another tumble because it has now emerged that both of her falls where she hit her leg in the same place were where she “fell out of through her own back door”.

So if they send her home, what will stop her doing it again?

Maybe it is a good thing though because all the to-and-fro hospital visiting has really dragged W down.

Bort me squirrels 10kg ov nuts today. Fink eye has 5 or 6 different ones visiting. All wiv different issums ov which way they approch and varying levels ov nervousness. Assit were a cooler day eye fort eye'd take edgar over the pond on the sack truck to feed the ducks after wuk but he were er sheep. So eye warered him insteam. He likes ducks.

RSPB wouldnt come out to collect the magpie fledging, silly moo said she cant come for a few hours so just put it back where it was for its best chances

Yer so one of the 6 neighbours cats can kill it. Took it to a rescue centre a couple of hours away so
they will look after it for a few weeks then release it. I just couldnt bring myself to let it go knowing it would die.
The young lass at the centre was lovely & so grateful, they are all volunteers too.

Fluids all done yesterday just the MAF sensor to clean and the coolent to change but need to get some distilled water , can get on with some real work now out all day Wednesday by the sea so sea food platter on the menu , it's hard being retired, And that's not retarded

Took me AGES to find any sort of a thread on here on removing and replacing the TD5 notorious oil pump bolt.
And that was a link to a YouTube, which wasn't all that good! Still at least I have somewhere to go.
Now got to source the parts. Over here.

My useful neighbour isn't in today.

Flipping Axa, as you know I asked them a very simple question "Did you take the payment twice?"
Did they answer the question? Nope.
Just told me there was no "double policy in my name on their database." Of course it wouldn't be, told them to talk to their accountants.
They are deffo getting on my bits now.
I won't bore you with the email I sent back.
I will have to get W onto PayPal AND onto her credit card to get them wound up about this.
