I think we were all expecting changes with global warming but I don't think we expected them to be so off the wall and to come so quickly.
I think many of us thought things would remain just the same except a bit hotter. we (W and I) did.

It probably is, but nevertheless although we all knew about this sort of thing in theory I, and a lot of others, are only really becoming aware of it when it happens, and at that, close to home.
