the liner should feel as one with block and not dropped or tipped- a finger nail will feel the lip.
But from the low quality pic I can see on my phone it's not looking great-clean it off and then check- pic on my phone small but it looks like it has moved unless soot, burn oil crap on it

no 3 in photo or no 5 as engine looks like it has top hat liner ,original liners are only about 3mm thick tapering at top as the other 3 ,piston will tend to be washed clean on blown cylinder if coolant involved

its not necessarily breeches your looking for but stains ,discolouration and incomplete clean fire ring mark on bblock gasket and head

Id have said if it had dropped a liner on no3 as you look at the pic the piston crown would be clean, as they get "steam cleaned" buy the water that enters the cylinder. As they are all as dirty as each other id say it was ok, and aggree that it looks like a top hat liner.

that what top hat liner is ,because of shoulder its possible to seal liner to block face,wouldnt have been factory fitted
Yes James i know what a top hat or shouldered liner looks like. It could well have been fitted at factory to save an otherwise servicable block if machining had gone wrong and been out of tolerance, seen them very rarely before. It could also have been fitted later to correct a slipped liner by a machine shop of course.

The push rod wear clearly indicates more of a valve train issue worn cam and sticking follower or less coman is a sticking valve due to valve stem seal failure and the valve has been stuck open and the compression and firing has closed the valve back up what does the top of the valve and rocker arm look like?
If it is mushroomed then defo a sticking valve issue or has the tip of the rocker arm worn away?
