Chop them out in the middle with a grinder than hammer them out also works ;)

I've never needed much force on a uj vice has been plentiful, if your on about chopping circlip I always use an small chisel and give them a little tap to save the tongs on my circlip pliers ;) the only thing I can think it was a really old one that the cup had rusted itself in:eek:

No chop the centre out of the UJ makes
It alot easier haha
Yeah if the curculio is tight I usually give it a tap around to losen it up

A curculio. I like that. I noticed a little slack in my front propshaft yesterday as I was doing my brakes. No vibration when driving as yet, but it's now on my list of jobs to do. I'll have great fun taking the curculios out, especially now we've got a new word for them.
