Has anyone tryed the new hybrid turbos that are avalable? They proclaim to be much better , less lag and more power but are they worth the extra cost .Any experiences!!:blabla:

from what i have read, the turbo currently fitted to the 300tdi is capable of supplying more boost than the engine can stand if you adjust it. So extra boost wont be a bonus.

As for turbo lag, mine personally comes in quite early and quite strong. So i dont know what you would gain from that.

Better option would be an uprated intercooler. denser air at same boost pressure = more power

Yer right, so no point in spending ££'s on a turbo when your not going to use it to full potential then isit :doh:
