Having had a really good look at the underside of my Disco, I think the rot is probably terminal, so at the end of this year I'm going to take it off the road and possibly give it the hybrid treatment.

Has anyone out there done done this before? And do you have any tips?

Stop listening to Linkin Park?

hybrid with what? usually a disco chassis is something you'd stick a series body on to get the benifits of the coil spring disc brake axles and the mounts for the 220tdi/lt77 combo without it all breakin.........

And there was me thinkin the Hybrid theory involved the use of Riggas as kinky get up!!!

Probably a Defender at the front, S111 doors, and seat box, the arse end is the bit that could be fun. Cutting down a 110 tub to fit...........Watch this space!
