Other option is to get a length of 4x2 timber, bore into end to insert breaker bar to a reasonable depth and use that in place of scaffold pole
Shouldn't need Oxy-Fuel type of heat, generous amount with a blow torch, the nut isn't very big and technically it is only 192Nm in anycase!

Just get out 2am in the morning with a cordless angle grinder on the nearest street sign pole, this I hasten to add is not condoned but as it is an emergency ?????

I went up my friendly Indy round the corner and got one of the lads to whip it off with the whizzy gun. Left them a tip and nipped it up enough to get home. They hammered it back up afterwards too. Saves a lot of effing about.
