I need to replace the CV joints on my 90, but apparently there are two types - 23-spline and 33-spline. Is there any way of finding out which ones mine should have without stripping out an old one? It's a 1990 90 that originally had a 2.5TD fitted, as far as I know the axles are the originals.

Nope.

Do what I did. Buy a pair of both types of CV and then return the ones you don't use.

you could check axle number if still visible

Someone could have changed bits still,

Either buy both or take yours out and get counting
