hey guys i am going to sort out my FPR but cant get to it. i was told that removing the intake manifold. can any one give me any advice on how to do it.

10mm socket and 4" extension but i find if you lay across engine you can get to fpr ok ,a slot cut into a 9/16 or 14mm combination spanner ring end helps if you undo pipes as i do at fpr

Make 6 point sockets and wrenches your friend

do you just remove the 8 bolts it think it is that hold it on. is there anything else. and should i replace the gasket. i only have 12 point sockets.

i wouldnt remove manifold personally ,but theres 4 bolts hold fuel cooler bracket to manifold too ,ifyou do might be a good time to replace heater plugs as well as gasket ,the rear most bolts are awkward

Old bolts, rusty ones tend to round off with 12 points. 6 points the best. Think a moment why are impact sockets 6 point?
