been told you can tweak the fuel pump on the 300tdi to give it more power.
is this possible, and if so, how is it achieved?

Do a Fooking search Fer christs sake!! Don't ya fink this topic will have been done ta death on every landy forum in existunce.
 
unless he looks up "tuning a 300td" - coz he mite end up tooning a Merc!!! - but then again - our own fair Adz - has done this....
 
im guessing you wouldnt recomend DIY then.
can most garages do the jon, or is it worth getting a land rover specialist to do it. my nearest being mike harding in bovey tracery.
 
I am not saying mike harding is'nt any good, but you may try A38 garage who are just 5 min down the road they are good Tel 01626833993.
Also pop in to brookwells ask them what they think.
If you need a general mechanic my man has been working on landys since born and cheap, drop me a line for name & number
