read the heinz manwell [its on the rhs under the leccy black fing] the pump ,filter [canister type] un heater is all in a black plastic cowell , big tip ,soak in penatration oil 24hrs afore attempting to get it out orft plastic cowel, as it gits reet stuck in. . . .its a pig off a job ist time , but well worth it, and second time its a doddle. . . .best oh luck earthling. . . .
This is odd, can't figure which one I need and it's pi55ing down so can't be bothered to stick head under bonnet;

Td4 up to 2A355492 and looks like pic in manual but my vin code is 3A!
second pic also off famousfour.co.uk and listed as Fuel Filter
Td4 2A355493 onwards looks like one in a '2003 model year on' pic in the manual and seems to be in rear wheel arch
third pic is what halfords sold me but am fairly confident it's wrong and is for an L series engine
fourth pic is out of the manual as being 'up to 2003 year model' and sits in corner of engine bay in or around big plastic black box and looks like the first pic
Anyone technical in?!?!?! Car is not one of the facelift versions, must be the year they changed over as it has some fancy bits stuck on (just stuck the camera out of the window for a pic)
