Tight Fart

I have been after a 110 for a while now and yesterday test drove a TD5, up unto that point
I was just about to buy it.
I can't believe how slow it was (compared to a Renault Trafic van) I am hoping that there is a
simple fault with it like the air flow sensor, The seller is going to get it test driven buy his local
LR dealer monday but could it be a case of "they're all like that sir"?

Sounds like it's faulty to me.

well my 300tdi is sooper fast!0-60 in under a minute!

seriously sounds like it was a ringer, try another one

150 hp chiped one will do about 90 mph (gps not speedo, speedo reads nearer 100!), and 0-60 in about 10 seconds. If youve been driving mid range and above cars or faster vans, you will definitly find it slow.

It depends what you expect I guess. Most of my experience is with 300tdi Defenders, but when I've driven a Td5 on the odd occasion I've found them to be quite perky to be honest. If you want a landy then you'll have to pay a lot in fuel to make it go faster than a Td5 will!
