The auto box wont stand it but the transfer box, props and axles will be fine.I had a customer with a 110 with a 502cu in chev,it was about 480hp and 550 ft/lb.The gearbox was a strenghened th400 which broke twice but it had a standard 230 transfer box, props and RR cl axles/diffs.He drove it like an idiot but I only replaced one prop uj in 2 years of use.Prior to the big block motor it had a 406cu in small block with nitrous - still no transmission problems - only fuel costs.
The main problem is finding someone to mate the gearbox to the transfer case.I prefer Chev over Ford but only because I am familiar with them, and I have to say it was an interesting job doing the conversion - and great fun testing it ! (You could make it kick down to 2nd gear at 95mph and make it accelerate !)
