How much does a Defender 130 Tdi normally use say per 1000 miles.
Just been on a run of say 800 miles, and had to top up the oil with about litre.
Is this normal ?????

God no!!!




Shud be at least 2 ltrs after 800 miles

no
my 95k 200tdi uses less than half a litre between oil changes.

fook no just find out where the leak is and cure it. If it was burning oil it'd be smoking like buggery.

With the engine running take the filler cap off if isn't blowing loads of oily smoke out of it. the engines fine.
