Hi, as above approximately how much would it cost me to get a 2003 V8i LPG converted? Ive got an LPG V8i Disco1 @ the mo but am toyin with the idea of LPG V8i Disco2. Cheers.

I reckon to do a decent job with sequencial multi point injection etc £2-2.5k depends on tank location and size. A cylinder in the boot is probably cheapest but pointless (why lose the boot space) a new custom built small petrol tank(25l) and twin cylinders in the space created is probably the most expensive.
much better to try and find one converted already. Doesn,t add value to a used car so should cost the same (ish) to buy a converted one as not. shop around tho...

i second that.. the cost of buying the motor and then doing the conversion is going to be way too high to recoup your investment in anything under 100's of thousands of miles these days.. but if you buy one already converted you may pay a little extra but nowhere near as much.. and then you're getting all the benefit without the outlay
