Im going to drop all the water out of my 300 but im unsure how much antifreeze to put back in, can any one advise me please..

50% - either premix it - or buy it premixed and just fill it up.

Thanks Mad Hat Man, any idea in litres the cooling system needs so i know how much anti freeze to buy.

6 litres will protect down to -36, although I only use 5 litres which protects down to -25

Cooling system capacities
Tdi manual 11.50 ltrs
Tdi auto 11.70 ltrs
V8 11.30 ltrs
Mpi 10.00 ltrs

If your water level is currently up to the mark, when you empty the cooling system measure how much comes out.

The total system capacity is 11ltrs, but unless you do a complete strip-down, you'll only get about 7 ltrs of coolant out.
