Hello,

This is purely another one of my typical just out of interest questions for 200 and 300 tdi defender drivers. Not disco drivers.

How many miles can you drive (doesn't matter where or what speed) on a full 50 litre tank full?

Cheers

ermm as many as it takes till it runs out (not fully) then you fill it up again,

hey nelly 'n' si :D

jes, not again! 210-280 miles very very dependant on load, city, motorway, warm/cold, serviced recently? roof tent on? roof rack on? bikes on? etc. etc. etc.

That's not bad then. I get 235 out of my N/A running at 70 down the motorway =D Take that yout TDI boasters

Stop your sniggering fool! Bring it on =D .... I know your tdi will kick my ass :D

Oh right, cheers Red. Well, same thing, im not doing too badly by the looks of things.

235-260. running 33"special tracks and have winch and stuff. tweaked full pump and full width intercooler. Works out 24.8 mpg or somin when i do a mpg check

Is that all a Defender tank takes?

My Disco takes nearly 100 litres, well over 20 gallons as far as I can tell.

It hurts filling it from empty, but I can (I do) manage 650 miles or more before the light comes on if I filled it to the brim.

My Disco doesn't go very far with the fuel light on. Ran out last time. Lucky me had a full two gallon can in the back.

Bled the system with the throttle pedal and set off to the nearest garage.
