Just had front diff done on 2.5 dse. I supplied the diff and they want 206.00 for fitting it. Is that about right? Seems a bit steep to me. :

At a usual garage rate of around £60 p/h thats 3 hours work...not too bad...

At LR that would be about an hour and a half...

Take it you have never done one yourself, on your back, on your drive. If you had you'd be snapping his hand off.:D:D

Dirty smelly job, but if you want to save £200 then it is a DIY job if you want to.... snow, cold, smelly oil, traipsing snow in and out of the house to get tools, bloody knuckles, £200 seem quite cheep now don it?? lol

With the cost of filling one of these (Petrol or Diesel) now well over £100, I always consider any repair under £500 good value!!
