had breakdown other day - serpentine belt tensioner broke off nacking belts, had to drive few more miles without power steering,battery charge and waterpump not working but managed it ok then had to leave it over wkend result flat battery - when aa arrived couldnt start it immobilizer had kicked in. was midnight so decided to recover it PROBLEM couldnt take auto box out of park in end had to undo prop shafts to move it

i,ve now got to re bolt props
buy new battery, belts and tensioner
remove brocken stud and refit
then mess with alarm hopefully will be ok

but must be easier way to take box out of park

jump leads across starter motor?

you ran it without the water pump...... i take it you don't like your engine

assuming your battery is flat because you ran it without charging function , why do you need to buy a new one ? can you not charge it up ?

kept eye on temp guage,never went above 3/4. As for battery, was abit sus before breakdown must be final nail cos it died suddenly

how does jumping on starter work, which must be hard to access
