on a 300tdi 110? noticed my pads are looking very low,but the discs seem ok signs of ware but serviceable ,will just change the pads for now but looking to replace the discs for ebc items in about 2 months they look like there bolted tio the hub is this a job that i have to take the halfshafts and bearings out for? would these pads fit and do craddocks deliver on Saturday?

45 mins - if, and that is a big IF, the discs come off the hub, have been known to spend an hour wiling seven shades of poo out of them before now.:):)
 
Normally you would replace disks and pads as a set, if you just change the pads now they will bed into the old disks, if you then change the disks in a couple of months it could take a while for the pads to re-bed into the new disks (depending on how bad the old disks are and how they may have scored / worn the pads). I would recommend doing them as a complete set if you can - even if that means gentle braking for the next couple of months (as long as they are still safe obviously)

will do the pads again when i put the new discs on ,just putting a cheapie set on for now i uses ebc discs on the car with green stuff pads there pricey but very effective and long lasting so the 110 is getting these all round in a few months
 
i wouldnt bother with ebc discs at the rear they wont get enough work just fit std discs and fit ebc at front
