As this is the BEST resource I have found as a new discovery td5 owner I was wondering if anyone can help me?

I am looking to either renew the entire driver's electric seat, renew just the base, or renew just the cover of the base.

How do I find the correct colour match? Would I have to contact Land Rover directly? Or is there an alternative?

Colour details are not in my handbook, manual, etc.

take off one of your door panels, it will have a sticker on the back that lists the colour of the plastic trim in your car and the colour/design of the cloth/leather infill that will also be the same as your seats.

easiest door panels are the rear doors. take two screws out of grab handle, take one screw out of door release trim, manipulate trim out of door panel (has to be twisted round vertically to get it off the chrome handle) and unplug the electric window switch.

start under neath and carefully prise the panel off the door, there is a clip every 4 inches around the edge of the panel.

reinstallation is the reverse but be VERY careful to line the clips up before you knock the panel back on with your palm.

you will probably break a few clips getting it off, so collect all good ones and spread them evenly around the panel before reinstallation.
