hi , did a 50 mile round trip today and noticed the bulkhead around the gear lever seemed warmer than normal, hot in fact and a slight burning smell . any thoughts gratefully received .arv

sorry, it is a2001 td5 auto it seems warmer near the cig lighter thanks arv

You beat me to it... so you know as you do... auto's get hot.

Can I say thats normal? but there shouldn't be any smell.
The only smell that I would take notice is the electrical one.
