then leave it there
some peeps have used it satisfactorily, as have some peeps with Radweld.
My personal opinion - it is treating the symptoms, not the cause. As an emergency "sell your car" bodge its ok, but not as a fix.
thanks im a bit happier nowglad its sorted mate.

i tonight took front grill off and decided to unbolt the full width allisport gearbox oil cooler which sits infront of the rad the picture shows the oil cooler moved up about 6"
and as you can see its full of crud,so ages was spent front and rear with the hose pipe
took for a drive and hey presto its sorted temp sits just above the 80 now happy days

my mate made his own for his disco using an old winch blanketAll sounds similar to my bobtail EFi on previous occasion..... this also turned out to be crap in rad fins.
I'm wondering if anyone on the net does rad 'mufflers/covers' for the front grill when off roading at 10mph (or thereabouts)....would save the overheating on the M62 on the way home when full of mud cos the 8 year old kid chargin £6 hasn't pressure washed the front properly:doh:
yep
thanks for all your input :5bseeya:
