I have had a problem with starter motor. Found this to be a faulty wire. Now that I have sorted that the hot start relay is buzzing and the car won't start. Any one any ideas on what this could be.
 
Hi it's the glow plug relay that is buzzing , the relay attached to the bulkhead in the engine bay. The other thing I have noticed is that the wire going to the starter motor appears to be grounded. Should this be the case? This wire is the trigger wire (think it is called) this is not the heavy wire but the small white/red one
 
I would but today is another day in landrover world and the bl... thing started. No problem with either starter relay or glow plug. Now all I need to find out is why. Also to note is the headlights are now on permanent one stays on even with all fuses out. Think this is something to do with dip relay.

i think you need a auto sparks
 
You either have a poor earth or the live feed to the glow circuit is poor but the chances are that you'll only find it when it's failed!
