i am struggleing to find some flexihose for my snorkel..it needs to be an internal diameter of 75mm..

ive found some aquatic hose but thats about it so far..
anyone know anywhere that sells such a hose?...ta
 
I use a local plumbers merchant for all hoses..damn sight cheaper than anywhere else i found.

Sorry, bringing back an old thread here. Great link pos, I'm going to use them to order some ducting for my Airbox piping. Does anybody know the diameter I need to go from Airbox to turbo and Airbox to wing? Also what would be the best pipe to use?
 
I have spent ages trying to route the piping from the turbo to the intercooler
the issue I have is that I have a defender 200tdi engine with a discovery turbo/manifold etc .
Pain in the arse so far !

I have been looking at flexible turbo hose, which would solve all my problems
so is this a good idea or not ?

Not sure how strong the flexable stuff is bud, Not sure it'd be suitable under boost situations.
 
I think the solution lies in Aaron's avatar. Can you not make something up out of standard bends and bits of rigid pipe?
 
Lots of people fit disco 200tdi's into old lr's and I'm sure I've seen someone selling an off the shelf solution for it.
I might be wrong, but I'll have a look when I get a mo.

Or as Brown says, doing it in manufactured silicone or solid bends/pipe will be doable.
The hardest part is working out the best way to do it, what you'll need and what will work with others.
Yours shouldn't be to bad though. I had to include reducers in most of mine which made it awkward.
 
The other option is to 'clock' the turbo, taking the outlet pipe up and round by 90*. This option improves the pipe routing and is easy enough to do - 3 new holes have to be drilled.
 
That looks like a good idea - doesn't appear to foul the inner wings or the alternator. Maybe if you source the bits separately it'll come out less than £50 as well.


Doesn't need any wing-chopping, unlike others kits. Not sure how much those tight bends would restrict air flow?

I ordered mine last night, should arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to have some normal power after driving round with a squashed pipe for a year! I couldn't find any specific reviews for it, other than the guy's eBay feedback, which all seemed good.
Will update when fitted...
