really needs another tag in front of outrigger and the one you did cut off and one made to go between bulkhead and outrigger(in space taken up by packing washers)

I agree. Maybe ok for sidesteps but would not take much of a bump to bend them on a tree or rock.

Well you didn't put that originally did youmost people just use tube instead of bar

A solid bar is EASIER to bend than a hollow tube. because area 1 is Zero. ... of the wall thickness or the ratio of the inner diameter to the outer diameter. ... but the hollow tube deflects less under the same load, than a solid bar.

I'd calculate the stress it'll take but I don't have my spec sheet on me, think steel is 200 GPa youngs mod but need the other values and formula too as I cant remember it off the top of my head
