i plan on doing exactly that ......in about 2yrs , after i've built another house on my land to sell for a tidy profit .

but if i didn't plan on moving , i'd have to disagree . why should i be bullied into moving ?

i can easily give as good as i get , i own the woodland that lies between the offending couple's house and a noisy dual carriage way . before this summer has passed , they will have the best view of traffic that anyone could ever wish for and i could always do with the logs .

here's an example , i couldn't keep a straight face when i got this from the witch nextdoor : set the scene first , i have access across the frontage of their house and my driveway/parking area lies immediately beyond their boundry . ".....and i think it's disgusting that you park your 4x4's on your drive , why cant you park them further away and let the grass grow ? you make my life hell " . now here's the thing , the 'grass' is actually a concrete parking area that was layed by the previous owner , bordered in nettles and brambles . and when i bought the property there was an old car on it with weeds growing through it , it had evidently been there for quite some time ! along with a rusty old cement mixer (owned by my neighbours but dumped on my property ) .

as i'm welsh , born and bred , i feel that i'm in position to comfortably say : i'm fuc#ing sick and tired of small minded ignorant abusive valley as#holes , without sounding at all racist

also worth note is the fact that these people are school-teachers ! so if any of you readers have children who go to school in risca south wales ...... i'd seriously be looking for other schools .

So the garage cut a hole in your bellhousing, which is supposed to be waterproof when the plug is fitted? Maybe ask them how you seal it now?

Sorry to hear about the other grief too, bad neighbours can be a cause of serious grief, we moved out of london as a house a few doors along turned into a drugs den with a stream of cars all night and day outside. Police didnt bother, our neighbour did and got his tyres slashed for doing so. In the end we thought "**** it, whats the point" and moved out a bit into the country. It was like lifting a ton off my shoulders.

Just before you eventually move, organise a meeting and/or greenlaning session in your area and invite us all back for a drink ... they think they are already ticked off with a couple of 4x4's. Imagine the look on their faces if a dozen or so 4x4's turned up outside their property .

or you could invite a couple of local bike clubs to hold a good loud rally on your land with plenty o' beer and music .that'll really **** em off and probably scare the locals into backing off as clubs tend to look after anyone who helps em out .

Risca? I was nearly lynched there when I was working stripping out the old chapels in the valleys.....still makes me shudder. Was up the top of the valleys at a party in a quarry years ago.Made the mistake of going down to the pub on the sunday for some food.....st georges day.The 5 of us had to fight our way out.The whole pub layed into us,men,women,children,dogs,chickens,you name it.Never did get my lunch

So,what did I do after all that? Moved to cornwall! Up on the moor.Seriously....dont go on the mooo-ooor!

Another thought.....I used to be a sound engineer running big PAs for raves and such.When I gave up most of my stuff went to some trust-fund-travellers who put on those 10 day 24 hour noise pollutions.Maybe they could come do a "private party" for a family occassion that you had forgotten about until now.In your woodland. I reckon about 72 hours of 20 thousand whats of repetitive beats (shudder again!) should do it.....get the neighbours past threats and nicely along to begging.
