Right my wheels turned up this morning. They need a refurbish as they are looking a bit worse for wear.

Do I paint them silver again or go darker like anthracite or even black?

Silver in my opinion. Always makes them stand out more.

Hmmmmmm the darker colours seem to go better with you colour of vehicle, If it were mine i`d go for the anthracite....


I like the wheels what are they?

Black with white writing

As said I think black goes better with your car colour

Although if you saw wheeler dealers the other week they had a pattern transfer put on the wheels. You could go for a similar colour to your car with a snake skin pattern. Could look the business.

Dark wheels look more menacing somehow.
You didn't colour the wheel by the garage door!!

Looks a lot better than it sounds. I wasn't sure until I saw the finished product. Looked pretty cool.

Black with a little stripe around the edge of the rim the same colour as your car with white writing.

Much as I like the white writing the tyres I am gonna be putting on these rims are not much to shout about. In fact I think I would be quite embarrassed by my Bronco Roughriders in the supermarket car park.....

Agreed. Or even the other way round, body colour with a black pin stripe round the edge. Dunno about the white lettering though.............

like the black.
I am going down the same path. should be picking them up from the powder coaters the weekend. then for some new rubber.
