I've just fitted some new headlight bulbs so whilst checking them out I noticed a hissing sound coming from the right hand side.this is just while the ignition is turned before the engine is started it lasts roughly about a minute then stops.is this a sign the hoses need replaced?I've checked them and they're quite soft but seem ok,or any other thing it could be?cheers

Probably the ECU and allied electrickery powering up.

If you want to check the turbo hoses you really need someone to hold the revs at around 2500 while you check them.

SV.

If it's doing it before you start the engine it's not gonna be your hoses. Probably what Singvogel said.
