Hi i recently accelrated from a junction and the 90 picked up normaly but then at around 65mph it lost power and slowed (scary on a buysey A road), i coxed it home but now it wont accelrate past 50 witout cutting out and wont accelrate in gears , its only drivable by changing up very early,
any ideas?:confused:
fuel lines seem clear?
filter was done 2000 miles ago
could it be a fuel pump isssue???

might have picked up some crap from the bottom of your tank - might help to run the tank low then drain it and blow through the fuel lines with a air line - might also be a split fuel line and it's sucking in air
 
Thankyou very much il give that a go espicaly as its had problems with split fuel lines before. thanks again
 
Could be the lift pump, with the engine idleing undo the bleed nut on on the injection pump, diesel should spurt out of it, if not start thinking along the lines lift pump failure; you can then do further checks on the pump if it fails the initial checks.

Could also be a blocked/gunged up fuel filter. Mine was fullof emulsified veg oil when it happened to me. 1 new filter and 10 minutes later all OK.
