Just fitted an overhauled 4.6 in my P38, started fine and runs smooth upto about 2500-3000 RPM then it starts missing as if there is a rev limiter stopping it. Could this be the case or anyone got any ideas. Thanks
You could just spray carb cleaner like you say but if found it to be more sucesful if you put the maf in a plastic bag and let it soak in carb cleaner for 10-15mins then take it out of the bag. give it a quick wipe over then leave to dry for 24 hours in an airing cuboard. worked everytime for me
